Wonder


I regularly see beauty in the world--in people, in nature, in everyday moments. This genuine wonder is something I treasure (and hope to never lose). I hope to always be amazed by sunsets, morning frost, new snowfall, flower buds, soft light, reflections, interesting shadows, warm smiles, generosity, laughter, and the ripple effect of kindness. 

This morning everything was covered in frost. The world sparkled; it felt magical. I put on my boots and trudged through the backyard. Delicate branches and dried-up flowers covered in frost. And the air carried a thickness. I knew the light would be interesting.
